Remote learning and catch up premium

We will consider remote learning on a needs basis.

Examples of when a remote learning system may be implemented:

• long term absence of a child through injury or illness
• prolonged school closure eg through weather, boiler failure, government imposed lockdown
• as part of a reintegration plan for school refusal/avoidance

We do not set learning if families choose to take their children out of school on holiday.

It's not appropriate for children who are off school because they are feeling poorly to have school work to do. They need to spend the time getting better so they can return to school.
